Exciting new features at Naastad Acres hatton A North Dakota Wedding Venue
A special day here at the farm... Today we hung a treasure that was given to me by Mr. Brady McLain Otteson and my mother, Kay Martin... who had them framed!
Many of you know that the Elevator in our yard was built in memory of my father, Bill Martin. A few months ago, I was told that Brady McLain Otteson had purchased a farm and found these seed bag that were in mint condition. They were used at the time my father was Manager at the Buxton Elevator. When I asked Brady if I could buy one, he gave me one. I cannot tell you how much it means to me. <3 Priceless!!! <3
Well today we placed the seed bag in our elevator!! In the back ground you can see a photo of my father standing in front of this elevator. I have his bull's that he always had on his desk. (A gift that I had made for him when I was about 15). The bulls were always a staple in his office, along with his name plate. ~ This is were the name of our little bar comes from "The Bull Pen" ~
I could hardly wait for my mom to get here today to show her this gift. Thank you, Brady and mama Kay!! You two helped put the final touch in our Elevator. You are forever in my heart....
